A therapeutic plant infused in organic cold-pressed olive oil like it has been done for centuries. Hypericum has a vulnerary action with antiviral constituents that helps to soothe the skin from burns, cuts and scrapes while preventing secondary infections. It also has an analgesic effect, which helps relieve pain when applied topically, especially neuralgia.

The common name, St. John’s wort, is believed to come from the fact that its yellow petals ‘bleed’ when crushed and that it flowers around the summer solstice. The Knights of St. John of Jerusalem used it to treat wounds during the Crusades.

Impressed with the quality of this oil. I have purchased st johns oil over the years and this is the strongest and highest quality I have yet tried. You can tell it is made fresh and has the darkest oil and aroma. It has made a difference in managing my MS.
