My name is Sophia; I am the Holistic Nutritionist, Herbalist, and Formulator behind Naturasophia.

          For as long as I can remember, I felt a connection and reverence for the natural world with a desire to study and protect life. 

My wellness path was ignited through my own healing journey and the limited ability of conventional medicine to offer support. I studied Visual Arts in Montreal with interest in Art therapy. The process of exploring my creativity opened my spirit to new ways of healing and ignited my interest in natural medicine. After adopting nutrition and herbal therapies, I felt immensely better, and my condition started to reverse. My experiences drove and inspired me to understand and share how nature’s wisdom can be a healing force.

  After years of self-study, I embarked on formal training in Holistic Nutrition and Medical Herbalism.

 I Graduated with a dual diploma in Holistic Nutrition and Phytotherapy at the most comprehensive and recognized Western Herbal Medicine and Holistic Nutrition program in North America. My training was full-time for six years and consisted of over 4000 hours, including 850 hours of clinical practice and medicine dispensing.

My studies on Western Science includes Biochemistry, Phytochemistry, Anatomy & Physiology, Pathophysiology, Western Diagnosis, and Pharmacology. My traditional healing studies includes an in-depth training in Herbal Medicine, Ayurveda and Traditional Chinese Medicine. With over a decade in the field of natural health, my practice is a combination of my background in creative expression, natural science, and traditional healing.  

    The fusion of formal training, hands-on experience, along with a deep desire to be of service, gives me the ability to support and empower my clients.
